The creator platform launched an MCP server on October 9 so AI assistants can query comments, mentions and creator activity.
On October 9, Nectar, a social and creator platform, launched an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server: a standard way for AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and other compatible ones to query data from another tool.
What it exposes
- Comments.
- Mentions.
- Creator activity.
- Competitor tracking.
In practice, the idea is to ask your assistant things like "what did my followers say this week?" without copying and pasting data by hand.
The context
Nectar was one of several such connections that day. The Agile Brand Guide roundup says that of 12 marketing releases on October 9, three connect marketing data to general-purpose AI assistants; for example, ZoomInfo released a connector between ClickUp and its GTM.AI layer to query company and contact records.
The same report cites Cloudflare Radar data: sites on its network denied 13.47% of AI bot requests in the third quarter of 2026, up from 5.98% a year earlier.
What it means for you
If you manage social media for your business, check whether your tools already offer a connection to your AI assistant: it can save hours of manual reporting.
