Oracle NetSuite launched a platform on October 14 that reconciles accounts and calculates metrics on its own. It is free within monthly limits, but only for eligible US companies.
Oracle NetSuite launched QuickStart on October 14, an AI finance platform for early-stage tech startups. It is a useful signal of where accounting tools are heading, although for now it is aimed at companies in the United States.
What it does
- Automates the routine: according to NetSuite, it imports, matches, categorizes and reconciles transactions from your connected bank and card accounts.
- Metrics ready to go: it includes indicators built for startups, such as monthly recurring revenue, burn rate and runway (how long your money lasts).
- Ask your numbers: the built-in assistant, Ask Oracle, lets you ask questions, analyze data and carry out actions in plain language. It can also be reached from ChatGPT, Claude or Slack through MCP, a standard for connecting tools to AI assistants.
- Quick start: setup is self-service; according to the company, a founder can connect a bank, create a first invoice and see their finances in minutes.
Price and who can use it
According to ERP Today, it is free for eligible US tech companies, within monthly limits, and is designed to move into full NetSuite as the company grows. The sources do not indicate availability in Mexico or Latin America.
