ChatGPT launches Slides: create and edit presentations without leaving the chat

On October 16, OpenAI launched a feature to create, edit, present and collaborate on slide decks inside ChatGPT. For now it is rolling out to certain paid plans.
If you have ever built a presentation for a client, a quote or a class, you know how much time goes into nudging boxes around. OpenAI has just launched Slides in ChatGPT, a feature to create presentations, edit them, present them and work on them with your team.
What it is and how to use it
According to the ChatGPT release notes, Slides is rolling out to eligible users on the Pro, Business and Enterprise plans who have access to "Space", on both web and the desktop app. To get started, you ask ChatGPT — in the Work section — to create a presentation in Space.
The notes also mention export options on web and desktop, and that availability in managed workspaces depends on each workspace's settings and on the user being eligible.
What it means for your work
- For entrepreneurs and small businesses: you can ask for a first draft of a proposal or a sales deck and polish it in the same place, without jumping to another tool.
- For creators and teams: since it lives in Space, several people can keep editing the same deck.
- Mind the plan: the feature is not on the free plan. If you are not on Pro, Business or Enterprise, you will not see it for now.
If what you need is a formal quote or a flyer, Ivoka's apps are still the most direct route; Slides is useful when you want a deck to project or share.
