A research preview for US Pro and Max subscribers, via waitlist. It sends a morning brief, keeps tabs on your apps and checks with you before acting.
On October 21, Anthropic announced a preview of Claude Duet, an AI agent designed for small businesses and professionals. It competes with the personal agents already launched by Meta (Muse) and OpenAI (Dots).
What it does
According to Anthropic, every morning it sends you a short brief on the most important items across your connected apps; during the day it keeps tabs on those apps and messages you only when something needs your attention. You can also hand it tasks, from scheduling meetings to building dashboards, financial or sales forecasts, prototypes and web apps. The company says Duet checks with you before it acts on your behalf.
Practical details
- Model: built on Opus 5.5 and works with more than 6,000 apps.
- Where: research preview on Android, iPhone and the web.
- Who: by waitlist, for US Claude Pro and Max subscribers.
- Price: included in those plans during the preview and shares your existing usage limits; Pro is listed at $20 a month and Max starts at $100 a month.
With caution
Anthropic acknowledges it is early and that Duet might misread a thread or miscalibrate what's urgent.
For readers in Mexico and Latin America, access is US-only for now. Meanwhile, you can organize your meetings with Meeting Minutes and your emails with the Email Writer app.
