Calculators, quizzes or dashboards built with Gemini export in a few clicks, with no code and no rebuilding.
Google has made it easier to share apps created inside Gemini: they can now be moved directly to Google Sites in a few clicks, Sammy Fans reported on October 24. There's no need to write code or build the app again.
How to use it
- Create your app in Gemini (for example, a calculator, a quiz or a dashboard).
- When it's ready, choose the option to export to Google Sites. Google will open a new, private Google Sites draft with the app already added.
- Customize the site, add text or other information, and publish it. The app stays fully interactive, so visitors can use it directly on the page.
What it could be useful for
- Quizzes that teachers can share with their students.
- Dashboards a business can use to show team performance to its employees.
- Calculators and other online tools that used to require coding.
The outlet notes the change makes the process simple even for people who can't code.
Availability
The feature is available on web, Android and iOS. According to the source, eligible users with personal Google accounts, Google Workspace accounts and Workspace Individual accounts can use it. The report doesn't detail in which countries it is available, so check in your Gemini account whether the export option already appears.
